  • In a fit of redecorating, I read a web site on feng shui.
    It instructed that one looking for a love should pull the bed away from the wall, with two side tables.
    I did that.

    And in the process I moved my bed so that I could see my third floor porch perch
    and the top of the houses across the street
    and feel and smell the breeze
    and hear the birds.

    It's my favorite peaceful place in the Spring, Summer, Fall.
    Oh how I look forward to that door being open again.
    The best kind of feng shui.
