A place to grow wings, not roots. Daily story · 19 February, 2013
  • It had to all be able to fit in the car. That was the only requirement.

Four years ago, I had come halfway across the country to take a job for a year. I really hoped it would be longer.

I loved the work and it changed my life. Each night, I came back to my room to crash and sort it all out.

A couple lifelong dreams realized. Many more left on the table. Soon, the year passed and there was no more work.

I found a few new dreams along the way, and now it was time to chase those out west.

At least it all fit in the car.
