    2. a loving, thoughtful husband, my sons, my family.
    3. few friends that I can count on
    4. being born in a free country, even if there is a lot of corruption
    5. fresh air that is still free, even though there is a lot of smog sometimes
    6. The fact that I don't really have to work for a living
    7. for sunshine throughout the year, although the scorching summer heat often drives me crazy.
    8. For rain that cleanses and cleans the earth
    9. For my Writers' club members, my students, even the naughty ones
    10. My brother in law's bungalow at Karjat that we visit a few times a year
    11. The ability to write, even though I don't write that often
    12. for Cowbird and the huge cowbird family – people I haven't even met but share a wonderful rapport with.
    13. Thanks to all the love I received on Cowbird I've been able to write over a hundred stories during the past year and I'm very very grateful for all the loves.
    14. And oh yes, I'm thankful that I (actually my husband) could send our kids abroad for their higher studies.
