  • Sometimes I look longingly at those couples in the movies who can sleep like spoons all night. My husband and I are too bony and restless for this indulgence.

    But I look forward to those extra-cold nights where we nestle in with our hot water bottles at our feet and fall asleep back to back.

    I relish the symmetry of our bodies and the heat I can feel flowing between us.
