    will the dame fall? Sanders comes on strong,
    but love's already been had and it nestles safe
    in husk, sweet-leaf breezes blowing by it—
    and Sanders like a vexed meat bird wanders,
    wobbling lost at the feet of stalks of love above,
    field of acres unknowable, feet sore, eyes…vacant…
