  • On this day 9 years ago, my grandfather Kelly Hall went to join the warriors and angels among God. As he walked up the spiral staircase to heaven, I'm sure he paused and looked back on all of us that were left behind, his daughters, his ex wife's, his brothers and sister, his cousins and his grandchildren. But most of all he looked back at the world that he got to change with his smile, his service to our country, his voice, his laugh, his generosity, and last but never least his love for God. There have been times in my life where I needed a shoulder to rest on and even when he is not here his shoulder still comforts me. I may not be a great singer but i sing because this is the one thing we shared. So many ppl have asked me if I had one moment to relive what would it be? It would be those summer days when i went to his house. I chose that because we would sing together and talk on rides to begin the summer. Fish in the ponds, play in the pool, watch granddaddy work. What i.loved about those moments was that at that age social life didn't matter, bills didn't matter, the only thing that mattered where the memories we were making because i myself would never know that these memories would be the ones i have cherished most of my life. If you knew Kelly Hall u knew a piece of God. He wasn't perfect but the changes that happened to those around him changed the world in one way or another. Lets just say he was a CRUSADER FOR THE LORD. I will follow in his footsteps and may his wisdom guide me as I try to have within my heart a piece of God that he carried and the piece of God i carry every day. In the picture he was being baptized and when I wrote this and begin to look for a picture that really touched on this story from my life. His shirt says it all . I LOVE YOU THIS MUCH!
