  • I am out of work for the last couple of days. I reported in sick.
I am having a lot of trouble with my wrist, arm and shoulder.
Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) as a direct result of the work I do.

Faced with the prospect of time-on-my-hands I delved deliciously into the depts of Cowbird,
catching up on old favourites, discovering new ones, and even adding a few postings of my own.

It's been wonderful, but really, Cowbird should carry a health warning.

In two and a half days I've hardly stirred from my seat.
I haven't sat this long since my eight-hour, trans-Atlantic flight to JFK.
Deep-vein thrombosis must be setting in.
I'm sitting so much I'm in danger of developing decubitus ulcers; pressure sores.
I'm drinking so much coffee ( ah! exercise to the kitchen and back) I've got tachycardia.
    I forget to eat.
I'm suffering from eye-strain, my neck and shoulders ache.
And to top it all my wrist, arm, shoulder rsi is being compounded by 'mouse-arm'.

And time on my hands -- forget it!

I think I'll go back to work tomorrow.
  • I need some exercise...
