  • I was going through my diary of 2012.

I found this pencilled in at the top of one page:

“The only way to overcome fear is to face it. The only way to gain confidence in any field is to take a plunge and dive deep into that field and then learn.” I can't remember who said it, or where I read it but it seemed so right, right now.

Just yesterday I promised myself that I wont start the computer until I've written something, maybe a story, or just a few words. You might not see the connection between the two things but it makes sense to me. I've got to face this fear or rejection, of not being able to write, to make detailed plans. I'm going to face my fears and overcome them.

Its time to stop dithering and wasting so much precious time when there's so much to do. Now's the time to prune the clutter and concentrate on the important things.

Tell me – what are your fears?
