A special evening the city twinkling shining no signs of shortage of electricity...buildings so pleasing to the eye...illuminated from top to bottom

The purpose of our going out of the house at midnight was serious-to fill the car tank with CNG compressed natural gas used as fuel, for after a couple of hours more the Gas stations would close for three full days. Definitely a shortage here.
This was not strange for me-witness to the time of 'burning coal in the fireplace and cooking food by burning wood' moving on to kerosine oil, then 'Natural Gas' and now..it definitely be...back to coal...
But the best thing to share was the time and opportunity to spend some of those precious hours with my son coming home from abroad after a long period and finding that ' God had gifted me health ' recovery after two major surgeries' to meet him, as he could not travel during the period of illness. The phone was the only occasional connection...
'Mom, lets go for a cup of tea, and I would like to have some 'Gajrela'(sweet mix made with carrots)
and enjoying the brightly lit neighbourhood and parts of our city, we were soon at our favourite Tea Corner
Someday we may return to Kashmir-Our Homeland -Where lie ...Our Roots
    My faith was strengthened.
