  • I wanted to start my Cowbird journey with this picture. I'm not sure is the most representative about me, my story or what I am but definitely it tells something about what I do and just a little bit about how I do it.

In that picture you just see me giving a speech infront of an audience, but the great story about that picture is what brought me to that particular audience. In front of me I have interesting characters, Malawi's First Lady Callista Mutharika, the President of Fiji Ratu Epeli and Dr. Asha-Rose deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, among other many religious leaders and politicians.

That day in New York I was talking about the realities, the stories of young people living with HIV. In the last 2 years I've been in around 30 different countries, watching many different realities and listening to many different stories, trying to find the way to translate those stories into solutions and hope.

That decision took me to many different people, some more interesting than others but all of them very important. I've been the same with Teshe in a small village in Ethiopa than with MTV Executive Director in a nice hotel in Vienna, I have learned that the context can transform the content, you can change the context but the context just can't change who you really are.

This year I have different dreams and goals... and you will be with me in my journey. So great to join Cowbird and share it all, can't wait to let you see more.

    Xx
