  • It was the first time he'd ever told me he loved me. The last time we spoke.

    I don't know why he said that. It was not a love I recognised.

    Life is teaching me. The hardest lessons I have to learn are the most valuable.

    And just when I think I've cracked it, just when I think I've overcome all that passed between us, just when I think I'm whole life comes back to test me, like a storm cloud that gathers from nothing, completely out of the blue, just to see how much I've really learnt.

    Today I weathered another storm.

    They are loosing their intensity, these storms. I am learning. I am growing. And one day I will be able to appreciate their beauty once again. I know I will.
