  • At first I'm stunned. What do you mean why I'm here? I'm here because my parents got married. I don't really know whether they planned to have a baby. Maybe I just tumbled out as an accident.

But well, I've been brought up to believe that I'm a child of God. I haven't led a perfect life or had the perfect upbringing but that's probably what I needed because there were lessons to learn

I read somewhere that a soul chooses to be born at a particular time to a particular set of parents in a particular environment. Because there are lessons to learn. Maybe it's something to do with karma. That's the only explanation I have for things you can't really explain.

For instance, why is there so much injustice in the world? Rapes? Murders? Scams? Is it fair that some people are born in the golden lap of Luxury while others are born in poverty? Sometimes I think the only explanation could be 'karma.'

Which brings me back to the question 'why am I here?' I'm still trying to figure that out but until then I'm doing the best I can, with the little talent that I have, to make the world a slightly better place than it is right now – I don't know if I'll succeed but you'll have to give me credit for trying.
