  • Courage comes from the French root word coer, the heart. To be greathearted.

It takes courage to live. It takes courage to be vulnerable. It takes courage to love. It takes courage to be authentic.

Heroes possess courage. Are people born to be heroes? Perhaps, but all of my favorite protagonists are reluctant heroes. Them I believe.

Where does courage come from? How do we lose our courage and then find it again? How do we encourage others and keep ourselves from becoming discouraged?

Courage is an existential choice. One that your heart makes.
