Been a productive day. Cleaned out the humidifier and prepped it for the new filter, cleaned out the upstairs bathroom, and prepped the area to be plastered tomorrow. Have had a nice discussion with members of the Poet's Haven over on concerning our next “challenge” discussion.

Guess that needs a little explanation. A while back, almost a year ago, I started a group on for poets. Not just a place to display poetry, but a place to improve as poets. We've had challenges on types of poems (forms) and various topics for poems. Members are free to participate or not in each challenge, and and are welcome to criticize submissions as long as they are willing to receive it. All very civil and polite. As a matter of fact, this is how I met our own Diane Jardel and Ilana Haley, among many other fine poets. Things died down a bit over the holiday season, but now it seems we are ready to begin again, so we are discussing the next topic to be jointly tackled. I expect to see some fine poetry. The members of the Poet's Haven are very accomplished and seasoned poets.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Did a little experimental cooking today. Wanted something for lunch, but wasn't sure what, so this is what I came up with.

1 10.5 oz can of Cream of Celery soup
1 5 oz can of tuna in water
    1 spring onion (chopped)
    ¼ cup of chopped broccoli
¼ cup of chopped bell pepper
    ¼ cup of 2% milk

I put them all in a microwaveable soup cup and mixed them up, then heated in the microwave for about 3 minutes, stirring about every 45 seconds.

Man! Is that tasty. Very low cal (the soup was a healthy choice variety), and just hit the spot. Now I love fresh ground pepper, so I added a little to mine.

I plan to try something similar with cream of mushroom when I have the urge. I'll let you know.

Well, not much more to say. Off to the woodpile. My ax is honed and ready to chop.

Added a little Enya..Only Time....seems right for the day.
