  • for the past 10 years I've pursued a career that I'm not sure was ever entirely my own. religion has a way of making you discount your own inspired voice and thinking all but the spiritual is silliness and waste.

after 10 years God has lead me back to a wholeness of self. i've step out of a career in religion back into the things I naturally love. the things I think bring the love naturally out of me and show more of God in me then any sermon could.

this year is a leap. my wife a new author, myself a new small business owner of two different businesses, and the scary steps of freedom and no safety net. but these are the energizing, shaky steps of freedom that are making me come alive again.

(the tattoo is one my wife recently got of the artwork from one of her favorite artists - Sabrina Ward Harrison - as we celebrated her getting a contract on her first book.)
