  • Seeking both beauty and warmth, I took myself into the Butterfly House at the St. Louis Zoo today.

    The warmth and humidity were too much - my cold camera lenses fogged up and took a while to clear. That gave me a chance to look around.

    That look was needed, for the house is alive with butterflies but they are easily missed until you really see.

    Then the beauty became truly apparent, aided today by a warm glow from the setting sun.
