  • Dear Mother Nature,

38 degrees? Are you serious? Is that some sort of joke?
The land is sweltering. There is no breeze.
We are hiding inside with the blinds pulled down and the air conditioner on.
It's like a cave. It is a cave.

Nothing can get done in this weather. It's not comfortable for anyone, really it's not! Why do you persist?
I do have to tell you that anything much over 28, in my opinion, is a waste of your efforts.
    Hot, still, dry.
A scary combination Mother Nature, a very scary one.
Fire warnings. I don't like those.

But, you do redeem yourself at the last moment, don't you?
You release the sun from the sky slowly and bring us coolness.
Still no breeze though. One of those would be nice. Just for future reference.
But a nice sunset, so I am happy with that.
We are happy to be outside now.
My dogs are happy to run and splash in the dam.
This is truly glorious, this evening.

I still maintain that heat is a wasted effort, just bring me the evening.
    That's asking a bit much, isn't it?
Tomorrow I shall retreat into my cave.
I shall keep an eye out for the evening.

    Yours Sincerely,
    Me.
