  • To Do List For This Year:
    1. Do 10 nice things for random people on my birthday weekend
    2. change therapists to someone useful. Stick with it even when it's hard. Dig deeper when it's too easy.
    3. Nurture good friendships and open up to the right people
    4. Only participate in friendships that are on reciprocating and satisfying terms - if they aren't, fix it or ditch it
    5. write something processy once a week, even if it's just a sentence (start an art/process journal)
    6. Find out what I actually like and enjoy, think less about what is pleasing to others
    7. be more proactive about dream studying
    8. make three new cupcake flavors successfully
    9. Be successful with the band but don't depend on it's success for personal happiness
    10. continue to develop as a musician/singer/whatever, be less timid
    11. use painting studio and/or sewing/craft room (once it's set up) at least weekly
    12. start and finish a painting
    13. Read a book
    14. Learn Spanish
    15. Reach out and stay in touch with immediate family more often
    16. attain the perfect skirt boots
    17. don't dress lazy too often, even when it's cold out
    18. Learn to knit the right way
    19. finish 5 handmade projects for all the babies and children I know
    20. get personal snorkel gear
    21. take swimming lessons
    22. use the slow cooker 10 times and learn 5 new vegetarian recipes
    23. Have 2+ completely sober days/week. Regardless, keep it in check. Any sort of black out or hootenanny = at least 90 days off, if not a permanent vacation.
    24. fast every 3-6 months, listen to what body wants
    25. eat breakfast every day (when not fasting)
    26. make a stronger effort to support good/organic/local/etc and avoid/boycott the rest
    27. do 5 things from my vast collection of things to do on Pinterest
    28. pay $500 above minimum monthly payments on student loan by year end
    29. save $500
    30. don't cut hair short (except bangs)
    31. rehab the torn up shoulder
    32. start using the punching bag, and find a way to punch things regularly (fight club? kickboxing?) if shoulder allows. Or just develop an awesome left hook. Punch things.
    33. do some fucking yoga already and then do 5 successful/real push ups and maintain plank position for 45 seconds (shoulder dependent)
    34. put exercise back into routine and reach ideal weight
    35. write and mail a letter
    36. only say "I'm Fine/Good/Happy" when I mean it. Be true.
