  • "I've never done that hike." This year because of the lack of any significant snow pack I was able to take my father to a rarely-hiked trail in Dinosaur National Monument. The snow drifts were still quite deep but the views from the canyon rim were well worth the effort. We made our way back shortly after sunset, cold, and content. While we were in the car on the way down my father was called into work. He works as a hot shot, driving various parts to and from oil rig drill sites.
