  • My dad is one of the most respectable people I know.
He is self-educated, and made a living from building homes with his motivation and hands.
He says that water is the best thing you can drink.
He says that walking is the best thing you can do for yourself.
    Simple concepts that go far.
Sometimes I join him on his morning stroll through the community-college, suburbs and supermarket. Architecture that infringes and becomes part of the desert.
The quiet and the heat is something worth yearning for.
My dad is one of the most honest people I know.
My dad is one of the most brutally honest people I know.
    He does not tolerate stupidity.
Whenever I ask him if he has time to help though, he replies in a jestful but certain manner “I have all the time in the world!”
He says this to most people.
When I was little, I thought he was exaggerating.
But the older I get, the more it rings true, despite the obligations that keep piling.
If you really want to, you can have all the time in the world.
