  • The secret to creativity isn't really a secret
    It's space.
    Private space
Where you are free to fail and succeed
To be ridiculous and disgusting and heartbreaking without judgement
But to create a creative space
    it must have boundaries, limits,
not in what you can do
but in how long you can do it for
And these must be applied only by you
    Not your government
    Their restrictions are obstacles
Your restrictions are your own distractions
    Self doubt
the great critical eye we see our creations through
It is hard enough to create with our own restrictions
Do not let the outside world provide you with more
Let that drop away while you create
    a creative space isn't a secret
    but it is yours
