  • Confucius say, man going backward though swinging doors going to Bang kok.

Where did William Tell take his rubbish? To the dump, to the dump, to the dump, dump, dump.

A German Coast Guard officer was on watch one night. Nearby, out at sea, an American ship is going down. The distress call comes in- we are sinking! We are sinking! Please help us we are sinking! The officer does nothing, seems confused. Again it, again, the desperate radio message is received, we are sinking! We are sinking! Please help. Finally, the German responds, in a thick German accent, ok, I hear you, but what are you thinking about?

Meet Joe. (Joh?) The jokester. These are just a small sample of the dozens we enjoyed (most I should not really put up on a blog). Joe and Mari, on holiday from Victoria South Africa were fellow sailors on the Andaman Sea, lovely people, married for 36 years, parents of 4 adult boys. They often spoke Afrikaner - super cool to listen to. When I asked them what they thought the secret was of their long marriage, I loved Mari's response: "I don't know, we have done nothing special. I think it must come From Above."
