  • This is my friend Sunday and I trying to pose for a 'normal' photo. That didn't go so well. Then again, we were quite happy with the result. It came after 400 attempts to take a 'normal' photo. We laughed that this was as good as we could look trying to look normal.

We have been friends for ages. Since when it was cool to drive around Arkansas drinking Zima and listening to Sheryl Crow. (Side note: My mom still has some Zima in her fridge.)

Anyhow, back to Sunday. We've had more good times that you can fit into a bucket. For the last 10 years we have lived in different cities. For the last 6 we have lived on different continents. We still manage to squeeze some fun into our short times together. Usually our emails, phone calls and video chats are good substitutes for a 'real life' friendship. Today is different, though. Today she is having a baby. Today is a day where I wish I was a 'down the street' best friend. Not a '7 hour time difference, see you in August' best friend.
