  • Yup, that's me--always getting into things!

To keep this story short, i'll just say that i've always adored small, dark, tight-fit places. Places to just gather my thoughts in; places... warm and cozy and secure. I'll even tell you that the first thing my eyes search for when we visit a new place is somewhere to squeeze into, a dark hole to curl up in when the grown-ups start to get boring. And I don't know why...but I sort of feel accomplished when I can squeeze my over-sized body and long limbs into a little cabinet...or a tight laundry basket, like you see in the picture. I feel like...'yeah, surprise...Deniz The Great tackles yet another squeeze...'. That's one reason I don't want to grow up...or in any direction; because I'd miss the cozy feeling of collecting my thoughts in the dust behind the couch, or getting into 'tight' situations no-one else would, or could, get into...

(Sorry for the awkward picture...it was a tight squeeze and I couldn't really look at the camera...)
