What’s it like living in a neighborhood of violence?
Well, there’s never quite a good moment of silence.
Beyond this street is a world untold,
A world of graffiti and people so cold
This image may look peaceful but it’s all a lie
Fear at every moment you could possibly die
Gunshots, gang members, getting mugged or jumped
People on the street are either drunk or drugged
So what is it like living in a neighborhood of violence?
One moment it’s gunshots, the next it’s silence.
