  • Shaundy Farley is the manager of Black Chasm Cavern, a cave in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevadas. The cave is 200 feet deep and filled with rare crystal formations, which people come to see. At the bottom of the cave is a lake — 80 feet deep, and clear.

Shaundy lives in the woods, a few hundred yards from the mouth of the cave.
