  • Ready to embark on yet another voyage, the keys were all I had on me. That old excuse for an engine turned over and fired, just as it always did. I watched as familiar black exhaust drifted from the tailpipe, up towards the atmosphere. For a minute I paused. Where would would I go?

Hours later, I found myself on a road. The road was very familiar, yet I had not been there before. It had bumps. It had turns. It even had speed limit signs. Although quite generic, I continued down this path, avoiding all crossroads.

I drove down this road for an unknown amount of time. It could have been hours or days. Not much caught my attention. While at a glance the road appeared unique, it was like all others, just another road.
