  • My sister's newborn, Alexandra, and her two dogs Tally (the small and fierce one) and Scout (the gentle lab mix). These are the three sisters. In agriculture the three sisters technique is a common practice by Native Americans. Three different crops, maize, squash and a climbing bean are planted in close proximity. Each benefits from the other, helping them to grow, while at the same time enriching the soil with minerals and nutrients. I am sure these three sisters will take a similar path.
