  • Amanda the green witch
    very gently squeezed a
    Yew berry to bewitch
    vile mortals who deserved

    to die by drinking brown-
    black seeds venting her wrath
    into the vat, her gown
    splashed by the boiling broth.

    Death Cap, Panther Cap a
    Pinch of, Fly Agaric
    Destroying Angel a
    Swirling deadly magic

    Peering through her window.
    Alfred whispered lets drag
Her out, and get her crow
And we will burn the hag

    Amanda stirred in some
    black nightshade then
    sucking her skinny thumb,
    cast a spell once again

    arggh cried the men shrinking
    into the form of brown
    rats and the witch shrieking
    spells hung them upside down.

    I have discovered the
    Cure For lost memories
    She cackled flashing her
    Green, dangerous, big eyes.

    So mortals will once more
    Gain wisdom of ancients
To whom the thought of war
    Caused them to lose patience
