  • It's kind of sad, isn't it? The way our world has changed? For example, what's happened to all the beautiful sounds? Now there's always a constant NOISE. Honkining horns, ringing phones, growling cars, crying babies, shouting people, rumbling washing machines, buzzing televisions, and on and on for all eternity. Our heads are always swamped in noise, talking on the phone, planning for the future, thinking, hearing, seeing, feeling. Sometimes we should just let it rest. Over the decades, most people have forgotten the sound of the wind in the willows. Of water trickling, of leaves rustling, of birds calling. Well, if you want to be critical, humans have done it again. They're wiping out nature, many endangered animals, and now beautiful sounds!!!! Noise isn't always good. In fact, when it gets to a certain level, it's NEVER good. We need to have peace once in a while. Our minds should be centered in the moment. I mean, we spend so much time planning for the future, that future sometimes never gets there. Life's too short to waste. And one lesson humanity may have to learn is that sometimes it's best to just BE.
