  • A few days this summer, I had to bring my son with me to work. One of those days, we ordered pizza for lunch. The pizza was with ham on one half, for him. Mushrooms on the other half, for me. We ate it out of the box, with plastic cutlery on the quay.

The sun was unusually hot. The pizza tasted unusually great. We watched barges and cargo ships pass by. Trains crossing the big railway bridge in a distance. It might have been the most perfect moment of the summer. My son has been trying to recreate it ever since.
