  • One of the aspects of being out in the middle of the ocean that I love is that I completely lose my self for a spell out here.

    I wander up topside, look out at the endless sea, water extending in every direction, to the horizon and well beyond, and I am given a wonderful gift of perspective.

    Whatever I thought was so God-awful important - really wasn't. I go through a few days where all there is to do is be - not be any thing in particular - just be. I like to be. Even if being sometimes feels like being lost. It's o.k. to be lost. I'll get found again - or not. Either way, it'll be what it is.
