  • My ghosts were waiting for me today.
coming with the music, the fire , the chance for them to change color with the leaves
They ate, they laughed, danced, whispered the sacred words in the worlds parting
They remembered the plans , the paths, the flying embers lighting the way
They remembered the flags of childhood, the screams in play, the pretending to pretend.

all along the swords and shields were sharpened agaisnst us all.
while the birds pulled back to the skies of home

    My ghosts of salt
    of water
    of bread
    of mountains screaming sadness
    that we killed eachother
over and over. in the tears of emptyness

    and now look, just look
No, don't bother to count them
since you didn't when they breathed
    out there., away from you
    can you finally see?
they gather like the old stories we now know are lies
    deciepts of the trecherous

are you starting to finally grasp the implications of all the little deaths?
The ones left for you to burn with the trash after you read them or not.?
    The children on my hands
    The blood orders
    I never promised
    swore to a different name...

    look, you can't kill them
    look carefully now..
they face you. in your breath
    In the sunsets of dust

    I will join them soon
