  • Gloomy late afternoon, sun shielded by the dull grey clouds. Light cool autumn breeze bordering on being unpleasant. The ground alive with leaves being wisped along with the breeze like curious critters looking for a place to rest for the night. Their chatter can be heard like static from a TV but the volume level cannot make up its mind. Grass still green and cool to the touch. Fresh smell of plants and the coming winter filling the air. Birds chirping and chasing after the odd morsel before they too settle for the night. Order among chaos, my favorite time to just relax and clear the mind.

Flat on my back staring up at the clouds blowing about their business, mingling and churning like grey cream being mixed slowly in some cosmic pudding bowl. Beautiful and yet scary at the same time. I can feel the grass tickling my lower back. T-shirt just refuses to stay where its supposed to in the laying down process, I am too content to fix it just right now. Trailing the grass with my fingers slowly to the rhythm of the churning clouds.

The corner of my eye, vigilant to catch movement and alerting me to it, catches something moving and I turn my head in the direction of the movement lazily. I tense up. Suddenly aware of myself. Frozen in place. A sense of panic creeping over my skin.

Beauty and presence of an indescribable nature wondering about every now and then twirling with the leaves as they rush passed her shyly. Tall, vibrant brown hair with soft pearly white skin. Soft pink blushing her cheeks, blood red lips and exotic green eyes. They seem almost slanted, the same way Cleopatra pictorials suggest. Slender almost provocative body shape, absolutely gorgeous. Her movements fluid to the point where it seems like nature is flowing with her and not the other way around. Conducting the dance to a tune only nature and she could hear.

My heart pounding I stay frozen too scared to move and just maybe ending this moment. Her gaze turns and she looks me straight in the eye. My heart stops and I hold my breath. Trying to take in everything of her. Blue, her eyes are blue. Deep ocean blue. She is looking right into my soul and my whole being wants her to. The moment felt like hours. I never noticed that she was now walking gracefully over to me keeping the gaze locked.

    Please! Please say something.
I have to know what she sounds like. I manage to breathe. My whole being open and given over to this overwhelming feeling of her.

"Hello. Whats your name?" She said with an almost musical voice. Still gliding towards me.

Sitting up quickly, trying to compose myself. I open my mouth and nothing. Nothing comes out. Whats wrong with me? Am I completely daft? Speak man!!
I try again and again nothing.

She smiles, clearly noticing that she has me under her spell. She sits down in front of me on the grass not breaking the gaze for a moment.

"Cat got your tongue?" she asks with the most beautiful entrancing smile.

I just shake my head like an idiot trying to say "no". All attempts to utter words or make a sound fails.

"Silly boy." Shaking her head with the same smile. Before I knew what was happening she leans over and puckers her beautiful lips to give me a kiss, me frozen still. Closer. Closer. Just when I could feel the warmth of her lips on mine, just not touching...

    I wake up! FUCK!
