  • Boo has the slow southern drawl that you could listen to for hours. The kind that reminds you of a time when everything was slowed down. Only her hunched body, layered with wrinkles, betrays her age. At ninety she has outlived most of her friends and family, and seems to be doing the same with her body. Still, the spark of life shines brightly from beneath her glasses and rushes out with every word. In those moments you can see her for what she once was, and deep down still is. Bright, determined, beautiful. She is an overlooked artifact that refuses to be forgotten. Because while she may be forgotten by many, she is nothing if not vibrant.
