  • I am interested in the 'places' that people congregate around. Places that for various reasons serve as a focal point of activity, always drawing people back.

    This is about one such place - a small, almost insignificant green 'shed' that sits beside the River Ness in Inverness, Scotland.

    But this is no ordinary shed - it is the riverside tearoom, clubhouse, chat room, hand-warming heart of Inverness Angling Club. It may be small on the outside, but its 'interior' is huge and filled with warmth and friendship.

    I spent a couple of mornings with the club members last week, listening, photographing and enjoying their enthusiasm for fishing and life.
