  • Mathers was carpeted. An old shag with two, too many runs through his veins to be seen as anything else but a ground down door mat. The

mud nestled in his hair from all the walkbys stepping on his head, or the garbage trucks trying to pick him up , not knowing it was a living thing down

there. Yeah, Mathers was a retired remenant, rolled up, tossed out and getting fungii. He would be the first to say, it was all on him. Just look at

that throw rug he wears, and in an instant you know this guy has been through the entire wooling mill process.

His druel was the ontly thing connecting him to the streeets now. that and his threads...

(From, WalkDown) A Mathers Felldon 2ply without foam.

Mathers and I go way back...
Met him out in the Hamptons back in the 80's. early.

"hey man... you the dude whose been hopping around here with The Hula Sin nationns- ations?" his laugh matched the drizzle.
I guess he thought he knew I was holding.
    I wasn't giving anything away
    It was too foggy
What he didn't know , wouldn't hurt him, though.

"No man, I think it's that dude over there."

Turns out I was pointing to his father and brother in-laws, the Wall streeet wizards, lawyers and hit men.

He almost puked himself into a full siezre or sumptin

"You funny man, I like you.... Mather's my name"

I checked his hand for wet crap, but it looked dry.

"Bowman, my name'' . As I drank some more of his daddy's Gran Marnier.

Mather's still had "High-errr", on his mind.

I thought he was just drunk or stoned, both or worse.. More .. a pyscho with everything, everyone on the planet wants..... or thinks they want. . Money, looks, smarts, connections and all the rest of that crap he couldn't wait to be rid of.

    I laugh at that now.

Man is a true genius.. a true ghost.. A real Zen-Boy who could afford the luxury of a conscience.

When I see him next, I tell him you were asking bout him.

    If he survives the night.

    hop.

Where is everyone..? is it me or did the burial just get rolled out and I missed the point?

'place feels dead.'' Mathers might have said.

    "Lost connections, cubed man"

    .. anyone?
    hop.
