  • My house is located at the foot of a mountain - 生駒山( Ikoma-yama ). It has an elevation of 642m. There is a very famous - in some way - temple halfway up the mt. Ikoma-san. Its name is 宝山寺 (Hozan-ji ). I biked to 宝山寺.

宝山寺 has been believed as the god of business because it enshrines 歓喜天 ( Kangi-ten - Nandikesvara / Ganesh / Shoten ) as the guardian god. 歓喜天 is the god of business. As I wrote before, I nearly got dowinsized, so I've become so desparate that I ask God's help, but 宝山寺 is the big issue about this point.

    宝山寺 is recklessly severe.

As same as the most temples, we can draw 御神籤 ( sacred lots ). Unlike the most temples, 御神籤 of 宝山寺 give 凶 ( unlucky ) very very much. Commonly, the temples give 大吉 ( best of luck ) or 吉 ( lucky ) instead of 賽銭 ( a money offering ). But 宝山寺 is very severe! 宝山寺 is very famous because it often gives 凶. That's like the god of business. Business is so severe.

I brought quite a bit money and made a money offering. I prayed. But I didn't draw 御神籤 and biked down 生駒山. I didn't turn chiken, This in my way, I can tell !
