  • “Welcome!” he (Dumbledore) said. “Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts!
Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here
they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! Thank you!”

    From Harry Potter

    Welcome to Virtual Hogwarts!

Well, not quite, but similar in some ways, not similar in others.

What you are seeing here is a photo I took this afternoon with my iPhone of a screen depicting a brand new virtual world currently under construction.

For now, the real name and location must remain under wraps.

But what I can say is this: This is a magic castle, far far away, in the kingdom of our imaginations.

This is a place for wizardry, enchantment and wondrous games. A mystery school. A star gate. A portal. A virtual rabbit hole.

    Enter at your own risk!

Here, friends may gather, sit around friendly campfires, explore the enormous library, watch favorite movies, and best of all, share Stories.

The curriculum is infinite, based in transformational journeys of the soul, sharing, appreciating, encouraging.

Here is some magic for you! You will be able to enter this kingdom right through the screen you are looking at now!

Click, click and you are in!

As you wander around the castle, you will find old friends and new. And you can speak with them in normal voices – no more typing Instant Messages!

There will be Quests and Games, Jousts and Tournaments, Adventures and Expeditions!

What journey calls to you? What friends would you like to invite to join you for an evening of Story and Song?

    Stay tuned.

    Virtual Hogwarts awaits!

(iPhone photograph by Alex of Virtual Hogwarts, in the new virtual world of your Imagination, coming soon to a screen near you.)
