  • Off I went in my dreams
    where centaurs and fauns in
a far off land wove their spells
    with creatures who could talk.

I walked through the woods and
    communed with talking trees,
    Ents, could shelter me from
    the wrath of my mother

I lived in a world far
from my own where girls could
be Queens loved by all and
    heal creatures with magic.

    I walked with the hobbits,
    lived in the mossy banks
and laughed as we planned to
    travel along rivers.

    I would meet with fairies
    who granted my wishes
    for gossamer wings so
I could soar with the birds.

    I rode upon the back
    of a kind unicorn
by the calm sea where a
    small boat waited for me.

    I would sail away to
    a land full of laughter
in a world of bright colours
where I could be just me
