  • I move about in this Cowbird landscape and it has made me wonder. What is our link to the past? What is it really? Can we pluck random memories, curate them and create a mandala of meaning for it all?

My memories, my ancestors' memories, written or verbal, are they real or are they contaminated by neural pathways that have been conditioned by the particular pathologies of the teller? What is real and what is merely what we have been conditioned to believe?

We are all searching. We all want to know. Yet maybe the searching itself is as close as we will ever get to the knowing.

We are all walking a road to an unknowable place. Yet we walk together.

And I am grateful for the road itself.
