  • Did you know that porcupines like to peel the apple before they eat it? I noticed this one while riding my horse down the dirt road. Upon spying the porcupine in the tree I returned with my camera. After she became comfortable with my presence she continued her journey up the tree limb. Caressing the apple with her forepaws she carefully peeled the skin off with her front teeth and enjoyed the juicy flesh.
