  • Bogotá. My city, the only city I´ve live in. The city that wakes me up and watch my sleep. A chaotic, loud and rainy city. A city with no logic and no direction. Oh Bogotá! People talk about the big cities, the metropolis, the future. Cities made of concrete, steel, glass, streets, cars, noises, bricks, technology, skyscrapers... But, what if I tell a story about a city surrounded by high green mountains? A city guarded by tall dark green trees? And a dark sky that washes the city?
Well, Bogotá, my city, somedays it´s grey, chaotic and the rain guides our walk. Other days it´s sunny and perfect, with green parks full of happy people. A city not sentenced by stations (yes, we "rolos" do not know how does the streets looks like with snow) where you can wear coats or sandals if you wish. I´ve lived here long enough to tell that the real magic of this urban place is its high green mountains that hide the sun and stop the blizzards. I love my city although I´m a product of the cold, dark Bogotá and its melancholic streets and mountains.
