  • Your message made me think, to try and remember the last time I kissed someone that I was attracted to, someone that actually made me feel good about myself. I met someone about 5 years ago that made me feel like that, that gave me butterflies in my stomach when I thought about seeing her, would make my day when I would get a message that she had called my work just to talk to Me to see how I was doing, there was that exciting anticipation of being together and hanging out and just being, and in one quick blink of the eye second, we shared a kiss and moved on, which all in all led me to realize that I had gotten married (honestly, when it comes down to it) because I thought it was the next logical step at 23 years old? and I hated being alone. She, my ex now, was my best friend and is still my dear friend (working on restoring that) have two wonderful kids we co-parent together. We were not alive, in fact barely breathing and I was very very sick from drinking heavily the last 9 years of our 19 year marriage. That is another story though. We were stuck or felt like it because of hand me down religious convictions and we can tough it out crap. Miserable. We hated our lives................................................hmmm...I`m sure putting words to this history and going into all kinds of detail is somehow helpful but it`s kinda makin me sick at my stomach, so.............. I am not that person any more and neither is my friend, she is a beautiful soul. What I was gettin at was that kiss, that innocent spark that was so wonderful and absolutely too short that I will have the rest of my life, that little moment that my mind and soul cracked open, thank you universe for the new path, and the new BIG LOVE my friend says. This short little story covers a whole bunch a time and life is too short and kissing is too beautiful, we have to work on forgiving ourselves because we all deserve to be happy......completely.
