  • "Your imagination is like a river:

    Constantly running...

    Astonishingly deep...

    Never ending endlessness...

unless it, like, stops running or the the tide is really out, or there's, like, a drought or something."
    - Michael Kean, 2012.

This flipped lecture was super-cool and inspiring. Made me wanna, like, write a book or musical and produce it. And the musical would be about inspiring things, like following your dreams and using your imagination. Not very imaginative, I guess.

I really respected this woman's audacity and fervour for art; she had such passion and resilience in the face of impracticality. I thought it was a nice testament to all creative artists - not just those in painting or sculpture, but artists such as filmmakers, musicians, writers, producers, your everyday bohemian (oxymoron?). The message behind this video really was not to be put-off by the "impossible".

Anything is possible. And every thing is possible because of people's imagination.

(This photo was taken by myself. It is Athlone, a small town in Ireland, where I lived for six months last year. I found myself often going to this river for time to myself and to help me think.)
