  • This is another lost painting and one of my favorites. Again this was stolen by an unscrupulous gallery owner...

    The painting is titled "After The Music". It was painted in homage to my uncle, the Cuban Master Painter, Antonio Gattorno. He used a lot of banana trees and white goats and people in his early paintings.

    It is of two men who have just finished playing some music together. One is leaving down the road with his conga drum slung over his shoulder and the other is taking a siesta on his porch. The goat just got up, after listening to the music, and said good bye to the man leaving. I wish I had this painting. I will paint another similar to this one...someday.
