  • From young to old to young again, you have regressed into a state of childhood.

You leave the house and get lost- forget where you are, why you left the house, become confused about how you arrived at your present location.

You pack your suitcase for a trip ("We're leaving on a trip tomorrow," you're told, and you take the news as if it is reaching you for the first, and not the thousandth, time) and the night before your scheduled departure you walk around, confused, and try to pack again.

From sad to something we could joke about to sad again, you've gone back to helpless, and it is the hardest thing in the world for me to say.
