  • This is a lost painting of mine. I had it in a Gallery in North Myrtle Beach, SC around 2006. The gallery closed without notifying it's artists and stole our paintings.

I went to Crete in 2002 for an Artist's Workshop. I had the best time meeting artists from all over the world. We painted for 2 weeks then held an exhibit of our paintings. I left those in Crete but when I came home to South Carolina I was so taken by the beauty of Crete, I painted this picture. It is of a man walking home with baskets of olives slung over his shoulder.

Crete was a very special place. I hope to return someday.
