There is a great amount of humanity that can be revealed in three almost-strangers standing in a circle and speaking.
There is a level of warmth that can be felt as the autumn chill seeps into your fingers and toes for the first time that year, leaving them numb. Seeing your breath drift quietly over your head as you speak, as if to carry each word you say to let in linger.
"I can't believe we've been standing out here for three hours already..."
"For two people I've never said more than a sentence each to, we keep pretty good conversation."
"Man, see why I talk to her so much? She really gets it."
There is a certain smile that creeps across your face as you drive home alone in the dark and remember that there are good, interesting, and downright thrilling people in the world.
You just have to be willing to speak to them.
