  • My daughter and my mum were waiting for a bus in our busy town. There's no farm in the area for miles around. So I can imagine my mum's surprise when my 3 year old daughter exclaimed "Nanny look! a cow"
Apart from being impressed with her improving language skills, as she spoke so clearly, my mum was bemused as to where the cow could possibly be as she couldn't see a picture of one anywhere.
Then she saw what my little girl had seen and she had to take a photo to show me.
It was the first time my daughter had seen a dog as big as a Great Dane and in a way I think it was quite clever of her to notice that it did look a bit like a small cow.
Either that or she has a great sense of humour!
